ABOUT KERRY
With penniless teenaged parents and a father who left when she was five, Kerry Ann learned fast how to stand up for herself. She began waitressing at age 14, putting herself through Oakland University with stacks of one dollar bills each semester. She next worked as a legal secretary/paralegal to finance her dream of law school.
Precisely because of these struggles, Kerry Ann has dedicated her life to giving a voice to the voiceless - first finding her own and then helping others find theirs.
Ever the underdog, Kerry Ann is the only woman and a first-time political candidate. And in true underdog fashion, Kerry Ann is a proud former decade-long Union member.
INSPIRATION
As a true conservative, Kerry Ann believes We the People should have and keep our God-given right to LOCAL CONTROL of LOCAL AFFAIRS, especially over OUR LAND.
Kerry Ann does NOT believe in going along just for the sake of getting along. She has known first-hand since childhood how hard it is to earn a buck. Taxpayer dollars should be safeguarded and not doled out willy-nilly to government officials' friends and family at exorbitant amounts. Kerry Ann has stood up against exactly this kind of nepotism and conflict of interest in the past.
“If elected to serve as Commissioner I will be a voice for the people of Port Huron, Ft. Gratiot, and Burtchville who feel like they have no voice in their local government. I will safeguard tax dollars and fight to maintain LOCAL CONTROL for We the People.”

WIFE, MOTHER, AND FAMILY
Kerry Ann and her husband John have been married for 16 years. Their daughter Lucy is ten years old and Kerry's step-daughters are Jenna and Leah. The family lives just two doors from Kerry Ann’s mother-in-law, Marjorie Ange, who still lives in the house where John grew up.

PUBLIC SERVICE
Kerry Ann (Bradford) Ange continued a long history of Ange Family public service. Kerry's father-in-law the late Bob Ange served as a Sheriff's Deputy prior to his successful real estate career. Husband John served St. Clair County residents as an Assistant Prosecutor. And Kerry Ann is a ten year veteran Assistant Prosecutor, currently serving as a contracted Special Assistant Michigan Attorney General.

We hear politicians constantly telling us they run for office because it is “my time;” “something I have always wanted;” “the logical next step for me.” I, ME, MY.
Kerry Ann is not running for herself. She is running to SERVE YOU!
“As YOUR County Commissioner, I will champion YOU, and always put YOUR needs FIRST!”
